This gallery is for you, our readers. Send us your elk hunting photos, maximum of two photos per individual per year, and we will do our best to post them here. Please include the first name and first letter of the subject’s last name, ie. Tom S. and the state and year in which the photo was taken. Example: Tom S. 2006, Wyoming.
Maximum image size is 500 x 500 pixels. Maximum file size is 150K. Images must be either .jpg or .gif format. Only digital images will be accepted.
We reserve the exclusive right to determine whether any photo submitted will be published. By submitting your photo to us, you are automatically granting ElkCamp.com, it’s agents and affiliates the non-exclusive right to publish your photo on the ElkCamp.com website.

Tips on taking good photos:
- Try to place the subject in the left or right third of the shot. 1/3 rule.
- Unless the background is your subject, zoom in on the subject so as to fill the frame.
- Take multiple exposures of each shot to make sure that you got it right.
- Use flash for backfill all the time.
- Make your picture tell a story.
- Clean up your animal. Bloody mouths with tongues hanging out will not be published.
- Don’t sit on your animal. Show respect. These will not be published either.
